Interpreter

Dr Jens Heinig notarises in German, English and French. If a party does not speak sufficient German, English or French, an interpreter must translate the deed into the other language. Furthermore, the interpreter must not be related to the parties involved by blood or marriage. For this reason, we recommend that you always hire a professional interpreter. A written translation of the document does not necessarily have to be prepared.

You can find a suitable interpreter in the interpreter database here.

If you require an interpreter, please provide us with the following information:

  • First and last name, date of birth and address of the interpreter
  • What language does the interpreter translate the document into?
  • Is the interpreter related to the parties involved by blood or marriage?
  • Date of swearing-in
  • Which higher regional court swore in the interpreter?
